Sometimes our vehicles, even if it's a shiny new Lincoln model, can get a little smelly from the things, people, and animals we drive around with. So, to help all of you out that have some scent problems in your vehicle, we have five simple ways to de-odor your cabin. Check it out:
- Sometimes the smells can simply be removed with a vacuum. Simply vacuum all fabrics thoroughly.
- If vacuuming doesn't work, sprinkling some baking soda on the seats and floor mats can absorb the bad smells.
- A piece of charcoal can absorb a lot of smells, so grab one from the grill and leave it in the car overnight. Be sure to rest it on some paper towels or another surface that won't get stained.
- A natural air freshener, such as a cotton ball soaked in mint or some fresh coffee grounds, can make your vehicle smell amazing.
- If your vehicle smells like gasoline, you may have a leak! You can always schedule a service appointment with us and we'll find the problem in no time.
